SINGLE EXCHANGE RATE TABLE

With the new 11i release of Oracle, a single exchange rate table is used for all set of books. Thus, only one set of conversion rates need to be defined even if the organization is maintaining multiple set of books. In the older versions of Oracle, exchage rates were stored in each set of books seperately, as a result, with the functional currency in each being the only permitted value for the 'To' currency.
