Any data is normally stored in SAP R/3 in a table. A table holds the data in respective fields alongwith all the data elements. Even though data can be stored in various ways in SAP R/3, tables are most commonly used. For example the table VBAK shows the sales document header, table VBEP shows the sales document schedule line and so on.
