DOWNLOADING EXCHANGE RATES

In the new Oracle Applications Release 11i, a new feature added is that of downloading exchange rates. With the interface table GL_DAILY_RATES_INTERFACE a user can update, insert, and delete exchange rates. A range of dates can be specified for an accounting year where Oracle will take the same exchange rate everyday. New Oracle GL 11i creates a seperate rate record for each date in the range. For companies using Corporate Exchange Rates, this new feature has made things a lot easier.
