IRON BOX

An Iron Box is a specialialized environment created to trap an intruder who is continously logging in over remote connections for long enough to be traced. An Iron Box normally includes a modified shell, restricting the intruder's movements. To keep the intruder interested and logged on, "bait" files are designed and used. All in all "Iron Box" serves as an effective technique for trapping intruders.
