Information Technology Facts - Parkinson's Law of Data
One of the most famous laws of data technology is Parkinsons Law. The law states that "Data expands to fill space available for storage". So more the memory space available, more memory intensive techniques are used. Since the early 80s, research has shown that memory usage gets doubled every 18 months. This research supports the Parkinson's law.
