Answer All Exam Questions CISA - Tips on Passing the CISA Exam # 4 Answer All Questions No Negative Marking in the CISA Examination
Answer All 200 Exam Questions. No Negative Marking !
The CISA exam throughly tests a candidates knowledge on Information Systems Auditing. The seven domains in the CISA syllabus cover the length and breadth of information systems auditing. These seven CISA exam domains are
1. The IS audit process (10%)
2. Management, planning, and organization of IS (11%)
3. Technical infrastructure and operational practices (13%)
4. Protection of information assets (25%)
5. Disaster recovery and business continuity (10%)
6. Business application system development, acquisition, implementation and maintenance (16%)
7. Business process evaluation and risk management (15%)
Many candidates make one major mistake in the exam. If they do not know the right answer to a question, they simply leave the question. The CISA exam does not carry negative marking. It makes sense to answer all the 200 questions. Suppose you do not know the answer to a question. What do you do? Make an educated guess. Intelligent guessing is an art which can be perfected. Since each question has four options, by not answering a question, there is a 100% probability that you won't get any marks. On the other hand, if you make a guess, there is a 25% chance that your answer might be correct. Nobody knows all the answers in the exam even if one is throughly prepared. My advice is if you don't know the right answer, make an intelligent guess and proceed to the next question. Who knows your guess might just be correct!
