Answer Questions Sequentially - CISA Exam Practical Guide
Answer Questions Sequentially - CISA Exam Practical Guide
Answer Questions Sequentially!
Now, there are many ways of answering the questions in the CISA exam. Some candidates start from questions 50 onwards to question no. 200 and then come back to questions 1-50. Some simply start from any question they feel confident about. Many successful CISA's I have talked to recommend answering the questions sequentially one by one rather than in a haphazard manner. They argue that by answering questions sequentially, a candidate has a perspective of time.
Suppose you start with question number 50 to question 100. Then move to question 100 and answr till question 150. This way, it is easy to know how many questions you have answered in an hour or in a certain time frame. On the other hand, if you answer questions in a non sequential manner, you tend to ignore the time factor, not knowing how many questions you have answered and how many are still unanswered. Personally, I answer questions sequentially and did it both for the CISA as well as the CISM exams. My advice is answer questions the way you feel comfortable. It's better to answer them sequentially, but in the end, the choice is yours. But, whatever way you choose to answer the questions, just answer them correctly!
