Practical Pointers for CISA Exam - Techniques for Skipping and Marking Questions
Techniques for Skipping and Marking Questions!
Even the best prepared candidate for the CISA exam would not be able to answer all the 200 questions in the exam. There would always be some questions, for which candidate may not know the right answer straight away. What should be done in such a situation. One option is to skip the question by marking the question. The candidate can later on come back to the question to answer it. Another strategy is to answer the question then and there.
I personally believe, the second strategy is more suitable. I'll give my reasons. Even when you are marking a question to be answered later on, you may never have the time to come back to the question to answer it. And most of all, you always have it in the back of your mind that you have some questions unanswred. This affects your performance on the other questions as well. So the best thing to do in case you don't know the answer to a question, make an educated intelligent guess there and then, answer the question and move on.
