SAP MM Materials Management Important Tables

SAP MM Materials Management Important Tables

All data & transactions in SAP R/3 is stored in the form of tables. A couple of months back, I had discussed some important tables relating to SAP SD Sales & Distribution here. Today, I am listing important tables where data relating to SAP MM Materials Management resides. SAP MM is one of the most comprehensive and biggest modules within SAP. The size of the Material Master tables in any SAP installation are typically huge. I would suggest the readers here to go to the Transaction Code SE16 which is for table browsing and enter each of the table names which I have listed below. I am just giving a shot description of the data contained in each of the tables. Here goes -

Table Name - Description

MARA - Material Master
MAKT - Material Text
MARC - Material Per Plant or Material Stock
MVKE - Sales Data in Material Master
MARD - Stock at Storage Location
MSPR - Project Stock
PGMI - Planning material
MBEW - Material valuation
MPRP - Forecast profiles for Materials
MDTB - MRP table
PROP - Forecast parameters
