I have discussed this earlier, that all information is stored in SAP R3 in the form of tables. Such information in tables is copied into the relevant documents when it is called up. In the Sales and Distribution module in SAP, there are certain tables which are key from a controls perspective. Though an organization may or may not choose to monitor these tables, Below, is a listing of important tables in SAP SD sales and distribution. I have also included a brief description of the table.
